Feline Coronavirus Virus Test Card (FCoV-Ag)

This product is used for rapid qualitative detection of feline coronavirus antigens in cat feces for screening and diagnosis of feline coronavirus infection.

Feline coronavirus can cause gastroenteritis symptoms of varying degrees in cats, characterized by frequent vomiting, diarrhea, fever, anorexia and other symptoms. The disease can occur all year round.

More in winter, sick cats are the main infectious agent, cats can be infected through respiratory tract, digestive tract, feces and pollutants. Once the disease occurs.

Cohabitating cats are difficult to control and can cause infection. The disease mutates into infectious peritonitis and has a high mortality rate.

The Way for Using of Feline Coronavirus Virus Test Card (FCoV-Ag)


Read the instructions carefully before use, and restore the test card, diluent and sample to room temperature.

1. Open the bottle cap of the dilution tube, insert the tail of the cotton swab into the inner groove of the bottle cap and fix it so that it will not fall off. Take appropriate fresh samples with the cotton swab;

2. Put the cotton swabs after sample collection into the diluted bottle, tighten the cap and shake the bottle slightly for 15s, and let the sample liquid stand for 2 minutes;

3. Place the test card on the horizontal table, break the bottle mouth of the dilution tube, and slowly add 2-3 drops to the sample hole (S) of the test card;

4. Interpretation results within 15 minutes, interpretation results over 15 minutes are invalid.

Interpretation of Feline Coronavirus Virus Test Card (FCoV-Ag) Test Results


Positive (+): two red bands appear. One is located in the detection area (T) and the other is located in the quality control area (C). Positive results indicated that the sample contained feline coronavirus.

Negative (-): only a red band appears in the quality control area (C). No red strip appeared in the detection area (T). A negative result indicates that the cat coronavirus was not detected in the sample, or the levels were below the detectable range.

Invalid: There is no red strip in the quality control area (C). Regardless of whether there is a red strip in the test area (T), the card is deemed invalid. Indicates incorrect operation
