1. Open the bottle cap of the dilution tube, insert the tail of the cotton swab into the inner groove of the bottle cap and fix it so that it will not fall off. Take appropriate fresh samples with the cotton swab;
2. Put the cotton swabs after sample collection into the diluted bottle, tighten the cap and shake the bottle slightly for 15s, and let the sample liquid stand for 2 minutes;
3. Place the test card on the horizontal table, break the bottle mouth of the dilution tube, and slowly add 2-3 drops to the sample hole (S) of the test card;
4. Interpretation results within 4.5-15 minutes are invalid if the interpretation results exceed 15 minutes.
Positive (+): two red bands appear. One is located in the detection area (T) and the other is located in the quality control area (C). Positive results showed that the samples contained canine distemper virus.
Negative (-): only a red band appears in the quality control area (C). No red strip appeared in the detection area (T). A negative result indicates either no detectable canine distemper virus in the sample or levels below the detectable range.
Invalid: There is no red strip in the quality control area (C). Regardless of whether there is a red strip in the test area (T), the card is deemed invalid. Indicates incorrect operation or deterioration of the card. Be careful again at this point.
